Why Retro Design for Audio Plugins ?
To visualise what a plugin does with the audio signal we like to create the GUI in a way to fit this. Materials, light and look should underline the style of signal manipulation. For our "R" model plugins I was inspired by some very old hardware from a retro studio with 50's tube gear in the UK. I love those old rotten green front panels with the classic chickenheads. The analog meters where rebuild by a photo of newer meters from the 60's.
And it was a lavish job to recreate this for you. Enjoy ;-)
