I started today to work with a cakewalk version and CW closes without a word of warning when I try to load he CPT 250 (and others).
Any idea how to fix this?

It seems that Cakewalk doesn't support our plugins. We contacted them over a period of three weeks daily and the latest answer was that they only cooperate with "significant manufactors".As a little team of hardworking enthusiasts we are utterly upset about such a behaviour.

Shame on them :-) but never mind, I quit with Cakewalk and switched to Studio One and everything works perfect now.

I had these issues with CW as well on my PCs also with other plugins. I uninstalled CW and now my favorite DAW is Studio One Pro and all the plugins are working excellent.
I made a couple of productions with the CPT 250 Compressor which is one of the best compressors ever. Thanks AQRATE AUDIO ;-)
