Compressor Plugins

I checked about 50 Compressor Plugins and not any of it does what it promises even the $250 "high end" ones.Some compress something by a ratio of 1:1, some do something incredible with a given threshold of 0 dB,some starting compression at -5 dB by a given level of -12 dB. Measured with a scope some show a really attack of 71 msec by adjusted shown level of 5 msec.

In my eyes this is nothing but scam and I'm really upset. On YT I found this:

I am with you.. good and easy to use plugins are hard to find. did you check the CPN 300?

yes, it does what is should do but I'm not happy with the GUI.
